We looked dam close at doing another overseas trip rather that heading North....
Somethings wrong when you can cruise around the Pacific on a cruise liner for a couple of weeks and live like a King and be 1/2 the price of what our trip Norths gunna cost us......
Tent camping up here in Qld has been a dead loss recently with the humungus amount of rain that wev'e had....So...We decided to buy a caravan and hit the road in that.

You are in the most unique position of being so close to the mountains, the majestic plains and only a few short hours from the from the coast. 3 to 4 hours from Sydney or Melbourne an all the places to explore in between. Explore all while you can! Heaps of fishing places too!

Hi all,
Things have been a little quiet on the forum. How about letting us all know what you are up to or any trips etc coming up. We can either drool or relate over where you have been or are going?
For me I have had a week up in the bush with kids and ponies, a weekend exploring Edorado and Beechworth in Victoria, and looking forward to another short break this weekend in

Hi all, this is my first thread.
I just wanted to let poeple know about these really useful potable led lights I purchased online towards the end of last year. They are battery powered and weatherproof, and we used them in the campervan throughout all of January. We purchased 2 spotlights and 2 stair lights from Mr Beams Australia (http:/www.mrbeams.com.au), and anyone who lives off grid a few weeks of the year will find them very useful.

Hello, my name is Kevin & I'm from Adelaide! This is my 1st post here. My wife & I travel quite a bit to the more remote areas of Aust & the rules we follow are very simple; we always camp with other campers, never alone. We also never camp in free roadside camping grounds unless there are grey nomads/families already present, nor travel after dark if it can be avoided.
