Daly Waters Historic Pub
The Daly Waters Pub is a Northern Territory icon First established in 1930 The area is stepped in history dating back to the early explorers such as Stuart. The pub was first built to service the drovers and settlers.
It boasts the first Australian international runway and serviced the planes travelling to London and Singapore. During the WW11 it was serviced by both the Australian and American Airforce
Today it is a very popular stop for tourists. During the dry season beef and barramundi is served from the barbeque and entertainment is provided every night of the week.
There is a saltwater pool and tennis court. The pub has a variety of accommodation ; backpacker, budget pub rooms, ensuite motel and cabins All rooms are airconditioned.
The caravan park has powered and unpowered sites as well as a tent area
The pub provides a variety of meals including homemade hamburgers to a huge meal aptly named The Pub Challenge. The barramundi is provided by fisherman from the gulf |
